In this episode, we sit down with Kathryn Cross, the founder and CEO of Anja Health, a healthcare startup on a mission to democratize access to cord blood banking.
After graduating from Wellesley College, Kathryn desired for a greater purpose in work which led her to entrepreneurship. Founded in the memory of her brother, Andrew, who had cerebral palsy, Anja Health raises awareness about the importance of cord blood stem cells for treating diseases like cancer, HIV, cardiovascular disorders, and more.
Today, Kathryn is not only scaling her business but also has cultivated a strong community on TikTok (@kathrynanja) where she educates new parents on issues related to pregnancy.
On the Move with Power podcast, Kathryn shares how she discovered entrepreneurship, the hard business principles she has learned and the new values she’s taken on since building Anja, as well as how she manages her own mental health, resilience, and personal growth as a founder.
